Just read this "Each plane has over 100 hitpoints where each part of the plane has its own health and damage detection." Pretty amazing for a console game that can have 100 planes in the air at a time. Going to pick this up after work if I have time.

Hey Magnum,

Have you tried the replay function? Very interested in this. Does it show the whole mission with cinematic views etc.?

Cool. I don't see any flight sticks for the 360 so I imagine playing with a gamepad will take some getting used to. I enjoyed Battlestations Midway and Pacific though, so I'm guessing it will be similar. Never had BOP so I don't know how they handle the control scheme.

I just bought this lastnight as I was/am a big fan of BoP on the Xbox as well. Best flight "game" on the console hands down. Not a hardcore sim like Falcon, DCS, or FSX but still very enjoyable. I think of it as the Call of Duty of flight games. As for a good HOTAS I use the "Ace-Edge" that came with Ace Combat: Fires of Liberation a few years ago. You can still find it but it will cost you. Last time I looked they were selling on Ebay for around the $175-$200 price point. It is the Saitek X45 remade for consoles. See pics below:

"Ace Edge"

So far from playing BoS my impressions are good. If you liked BoP then you will love BoS!
