Man, this campaign got hard FAST.

I'm on the 3rd or 4th mission A Poke in the Eye, and the weather makes the chopper almost unflyable! I could not get it settled into a hover to work on the AA. My wingman when ordered to attack, just fires all of his Vikhr's one after the other and misses all of them.

Any tips on completing this mission?

Should I fly NOE to minimize weather?

I haven't flown this one, and I'm still pretty green flying this beast but: Try positioning your flight upwind of the target - with the wind blowing straight into your teeth you should have an easier time stabilizing the aircraft & the Vikhr's shouldn't blow off course as much.
