Just another tick in the box for capitol punishment. Some people don't deserve a chance for reform. But i am pretty black and white on this subject. While I agree (and apparently the firing officer does too) I wonder what your comment would be should he not have been wearing a bullet proof vest? Not trying to be a jerk, but I wouldn't mind knowing. A guy nearly loses his life, and the first comment is what you posted. You could have at least added that you're glad he's okay.
