1) Bombing a hot air balloon with small calibre bombs...

2) Getting a BR.14 into a flat spin and then timing the release of the bombload so that you can use the concussive blast (and brake the aircraft's fall...)

Tried #1 long ago; it works & is a laugh (although if you drop from too close you'll blow up your own airplane too).

As for #2, I haven't tried that one but it kind of reminds me of the old IL2 vulching trick where you take a B25 loaded with parafrags a few thousand feet over the enemy airbase, then go into a vertical dive, releasing the parafrags all the way down, so that the enemy gets another bomb landing in the middle of their runway every few seconds for about 90 seconds..

3) Trying to do maneuvers with your eyes closed, relying on just the sound, and seeing where you actually arrive at the end biggrin (this can help when the sun messes your TrackIR at the exact moment you don't need it to).

I've managed to hit Gothas with bombs, but I can't do it reliably.

The second one sounds pretty dubious... should definitely post a video.

Something I want to do (to one of my longtime online flight buddies) is to play follow the leader under bridges, with him following close.... and drop a couple bombs from my Se5a as I pass beneath the bridge.... if I time it right, he'll either:

1.) Fly through a pair of water geysers, which would be "ok", or, if I'm lucky,

2.) Be slammed upward by the concussion into the bottom of the bridge, without warning yep

I owe him some major payback for many years of online practical jokes.... this would be classic.

Best wishes.

The second sounds like a Bugs Bunny cartoon - Bugs is in a plane in a screaming nose dive, the ground rushing up to meet him, when Bugs pulls a lever stopping the plane in mid air just a few feet from the ground.

"Good thing this plane had air brakes."
