I must say, on the aboove picture the oil cooler look way to big, almost like a P40E. From the wing it should only moove upward, here it looks like the oil cooler and the underside of the wing are in one strait line. I hope its just a bad viewangle.
If you think `thats close enough´, go closer, until the plane fill up the windscreen, then a short burst is enough!

Anybody got any more pics/profiles of 250 Squadron Tomahawks in 1941? Or better still 3 RAAF who definitely flew combats agains the Vichy French in Syria. They only converted in May 1941 and broke a lot of undercarriages in the process, but by June they were up and running and shot down or straffed (as the RAF then called it) a shedful of Vichy aircraft in and around Syria - mostly descibed as Morane, Potez and Glen Martin types, the latter being Marylands I guess. Code CV though not usually displayed at this time I think.
Some of you will already know this, but for any prospective researchers out there all the remaing RFC/RN/RAF operational records plus some from the Commonwealth WWII Squadrons are available online from the National Archives at Kew. Some are fairly basic but others include handwritten combat reports by the actual pilots - pretty impressive and highly recommended. You pay a modest fee for each file downloaded but I think they are well worth it. Send me a PM if you want to know more.
Pete

gibbo,ray.... a few items if humanly poss.... further to knegel's comment re the radiator chin scoop, it does need to have a more rounded belly with the cooling flaps sitting lower than the fuselage underside. The prop spinner cone is not to scale and way too long. Pitot tube on port wing needs to be added. Six exhaust stacks only. Aerials need to be finer or skinned in half tones for light/shade thinning effect. here's a couple of screens from my il-2 setup which show the scale and perspectives...

Love them, though... EAW is NOT Il-2. And this is good so.
