Chris "BeachAV8R" Frishmuth reviews the controversial Microsoft Flight, successor to FSX... for better or worse.

Now that the dust has settled a bit, we seem to be getting fairer reviews. Or maybe that's just because BeachAV8R is saying what I am thinking smile

Good job. Let's hope MS will get their act together and make Flight into something with a lasting appeal to either simmers or non-simmers, or ideally both.

Great review, and looked quite fair. Unfortunately, it only verified that Flight is a massive failed attempt at everything it set out to do.

I can certainly agree that there just isn't much to do in the game, which is a shame.

That is troubling because you can market mediocrity when you don't have to reach the standards of your competitors.

Is the best sentence in the whole review.

If I wanted to fly FS3, I'd build a legacy machine and feel like I'd accomplished something.

I wonder if they are planning to release a lot of the missing things, such as boats, cars, other aircraft, radio communications, and so on, as more DLC.
It seems like quite a logical move. Something like 'Looking for some company in the sky? Don't want to deal with Noobs? Lucky for you, we present the 'Crowded Skies' DLC! Now you will see AI versions of every aircraft you currently own as DLC flying around, completely independent of you!'
