I am new to ARMAII and this whole arena

Whats needed to install and run I44 ... I have ARMAII and ARMA Operation Arrowhead which one do I need for this to work and is there anything that needs to installed ( patches I'm sure )

they should have installed to the same folder.

I just got'M this afternoon and I haven't installed them yet

install ArmA 2 first and then when you install Operation Arrowhead it will detect ArmA 2 and install OA to the same folder.

after both are installed then apply the 1.60 patch. it will patch both ArmA 2 and Operation Arrowhead.

you are familiar with mod folders from using them with OFP?

the I44 download is a .zip file that contains several folders with the contents of the "mod".

extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to your ArmA 2 folder.

That was why I asked about the install ... I wasn't for sure if I had to patch ARAMII first then apply Operation Arrow and then patch it up ... I wasn't aware that they installed together

So I get these installed and then patch it to 1.60 and then install the I44 MOD ?


I am familiar with the MOD folders and such

yes, the 1.60 patch will patch both games at the same time.

with Combined Operations you can enable/disable "mod" folders, on the expansions tab, by clicking on Expansions on the main menu screen.

What is this CBA and do/will I need it to run I44 ?

O.K. ...

I D/L'd that CBA and have it extracted on my desktop ...

Do I place that folder with all the continets into my ARMAII OA main folder and then install the I44 MOD ?

both the CBA and I44 downloads are .zip type files.

un-zip them and place the contents in your ArmA 2 folder.

for the CBA that will be the folder named @CBA.

for the I44 that will be the @I44, Keys, Missions and, MP Missions folders.
