Though Chivas how long would it take to say a few words on other things? lets say how AI, FM, CEM or radio commands have changed in 4 months? it doesn't have to be much, just a idea of whats coming, 5 mins? 10?

If the idea is to release a graphics beta patch and then a full retail patch why hasnt Luthier told us this? the only people saying it are the people making things up to defend the developers.
Where has the roadmap for CLOD gone? we used to have one, though since we got it about 3 months after release almost nothing has been added or fixed apart from the sound and even that doesn't work 100% yet, 2 variants of 109 and not much else.

The idea is to keep us hanging on while they finish BOM.

In my considered opinion, what I've been making up is far more logical than what you've been making up. wink The developer has been reticent for some time to tell us what they were trying to achieve, as it was always misinterpreted as a "Promise", and thrown back in their face. It would make them wonder if its worth the time to post. Personally I would also be very reticent to say much of anything if I were them, other than we're sorry the sim had to be released before it was finished and we are working very hard to finish it. I really don't see the point in repeating every week that we are testing the latest version of the patch, finding bugs, fixing bugs, then testing the next version of patch until its stable and relatively bug free. Of course that should be obvious, or I suppose it could be suggested that they have shut down the development, or have finished the patch, and are taking a holiday in a Black Sea villa, rolling in the huge monies generated from this genre.

The problem is Luthier says something is "almost ready" "released shortly" "coming soon" and then it vanishes into the ether never to be spoken of again Chivas. Its almost like hes just making stuff up to keep people interested.

I suppose thats possible, but its more likely that the patch looked close at one point, but the bug fixing took longer than expected. Its hard to imagine how hard it is to string together a bunch of One's and Zero's is such a manor that my system will convert them into a serious simulation of the Battle of Britain. Personally I'm hoping things have gone so well with the performance CTD patch that they are adding AI, Command, and Script fixes, but I won't be holding my breath for that to happen in this patch.

Vanish into the either, never to be spoken of again?? It was only a couple of weeks ago they said they're still working on it. Thats some serious over exaggeration.

Im talking of "SLI fixed and just waiting for the next driver release" "SDK coming soon" "2D clouds released shortly" "server docs coming soon" the sort of thing he says in the patch notes.

Now that would be the mother of all understatements.

You guys are such amateurs. I've been permanently banned for probably almost a year now despite having purchased every IL-2 product including this piece of sh** for which I can receive no support or information on the official forums.
