I doubt it will be a flop. It will continue to sell worldwide for a few more weeks and probably break even and then it will make it to dvd/bluray and turn a profit. Then it will hit syndication and probably end up being a fairly profitable venture. But it is going to take a few years which is not what a movie executive wants. They want a blockbuster with ever release.
As a general rule, film studios want a film to make double its budget in the domestic box office. The reason for this is that film studios get a much lower cut of foreign ticket sales.
