The drag chute button is wrong and every command after it is off by one.

Alright. I'm not gonna try the new campaign until it's patched. In-game map is blank, and I've seen too many planes stuck against the map border on some CAP to nowhere... That said, the Tomcat is beautiful and interesting to fly. Had a great time over Syria/Lebanon in 1985 against a large force of aircraft attacking Israel (homebrew campaign #6). The AIM-54 works as advertised. And I can't wait to extract the new campaign to see how to put AWACS and EW escort into my custom scenarios. I think the Tomcat with its new avionics dll alone is worth $30. Throw in naval warfare, AWACS, some nice new AI-only aircraft, and its a no-brainer, even if the in-game map doesn't work yet and the new terrain is bland (get to work, Stary! wink ). There are some bugs, but thank God this didn't break all the stuff that was working fine already. And we all know that the bugs will be squashed. Good customer service still exists.

BTW, is there any consensus on whether the lack of roll authority over 0.94 mach is realistic, or a bug?

(Man, today was full of distractions. This + the most exciting ACC tournament I can remember. Almost got whiplash looking from one screen to the other.)

The exploding Corsair in campaign mode baffled me.

Hey Troops,

Need some guidance, started the campaign, got the treat axis, locked on a mig21, I cycled through "all" of my weapons and nothing happens..?
Now I did in fact spend a bit of time mapping my stick, looked at the settings, and still no luck. And yes, I just installed the "Hot Fix" sigh Thier's a lot of "Bugs", but I agree with another poster, all this should have been covered prior to pre-production, during the beta phase, let's hope that TK, addresses all these issues.

I'm quite sure TK will get this stuff fixed pronto . . . though it is looking like I made the right call to wait till next weekend to buy this one.
