I hope the toilet has a good latch on the lid for when the plane goes inverted. wink

It's just a hole. The pressure difference will suck it right out of you biggrin

We have a "relief tube" in the King Air that is basically a funnel with a tube attached to it under the pilots seat. Uses the same concept..pressurized cabin, hit the little valve on it and it sucks stuff down it. I've never seen anyone use it..although we often try to get new guys to hold it up to the their mouths when we tell them it is the intercom mic to talk to the nurses in the back.

A neat aircraft for sure but the design seems a little long in the tooth, maybe they are just throwing Sukhoi a bone and thinking of it as an interim measure? I know they probably could have found these very useful in the South Ossetia war vs their Su-24Ms and other older strike aircraft. Supposedly the Su-34 is decently armored so it might still have a decent career as a CAS/COIN type platform once its no longer able to deal with advanced threats.
