so here's my shot at the story line,
Futuristic unmanned planes, and they (the Pilots) are in training,
Maverick Flys the F-35 as either wing lead, or as enemy in the school HOPs.
somewhere something happens, and they all get deployed with F-35s, queuing a DangerZone remake/remix/remastered track aboard the GWB.
F-35 was picked to get it attention, i can tell you that much.

F-35 was picked to get it attention, i can tell you that much.
Plus it's probably considered to be a more "exotic" and "sexier" plane for audiences to see than the F/A-18 which has been around for a long time now.

I rather they fly the F-18 =( I dont like the fact that they'll be fighting drones. Its probably gonna be like in that movie Stealth. Super smart A.I drones. They'll probably make it to much sci fi. Crap =(

Tom Cruise is detailed as an instructor pilot for some kid whose Dad was shot down over some foreign country. The kid talks Tom into training and eventually come with him to rescue his father. Featuring the F-35 and enemy aircraft the F-4 and F-5
