I'm looking to pick up a throttle quadrant for complex engine management in IL2 Cliffs of Dover as well as FSX.

I'm currently considering either the Saitek Three Lever Pro Throttle Quadrant or the CH Products Throttle Quadrant.

I currently own a CH yoke and CH rudder pedals, but I don't necessarily have an affinity for only CH products. I like the fact that the Saitek quadrant has only three levers - with two Saitek quadrants I can configure my desk for a dual engine plane, but later remove one quadrant to save some desk space and still be able to fly single engine.

Which throttle quadrant would you recommend?

One good thing about the CH stuff is that it will work great with what you have now. You know the programming and you know CH is built to last. I didn't vote cause I don't know much about the others out there.

I have Saitek's TQ for 7-8 months now. Been using it several hours a week and already I can see spiking.

Now I wish I had gone with CH.

I'd go with the CH Throttle Quad.

Heck, if I had the money, I'd probably be using one right now in conjunction with my MS SWFFB2. No Control Manager integration, but I've found myself gravitating toward WWI/WWII sims with multiple DirectInput ID support anyway.

Wow, the results are pretty one-sided! Guess I know which one to go with!

Thanks for the feedback, folks!

Wow, thanks for the unanimous vote, folks! A recommendation like that makes the decsision pretty easy. My CH Throttle Quadrant will be arriving in the mail this weekend along with my copy of FSX. I'm looking forward to testing it out. Again, thanks for your inputs!
