Forced to buy ?
Am I to expect some burly Russians popping round to offer a bit of amateur dentistry or free swimming lessons with concrete trunks ?
(I hate car analogies applied to sims but I'm going to do it anyway...!!)
I bought a new Alfa Romeo about 12 years ago. It was a stunning looking car, a 166 2.5 V6. I loved that damn thing....despite the fact it was the worst POS I have ever owned. I loved the style, the handling, the glorious noise it made, just about everything apart from the fact that it just didn't work. They tried to fix it, sure they did but it was fundamentally flawed.
When it was changed I simply didn't buy another Alfa. I never will.
Do I feel compelled to buy another 1C sim. Nah.
Actually, that's an excellent anology to CoD, IMHO. Beautiful, but finicky and lots of parts are broken or missing.
But "never" is a long time. If Alpha Romeo (or, in my case, Harley Davidson) finally got things right.....you'd be tempted!
Harley actually DID get things right -- I've got over 150K km on it and it's always got me home. I'm thinking CoD will go the same route. Eventually.
