...um Slap..theres been a bit of a hold up..

The mailman will be back on deliveries as soon as he gets out of court , that small matter about stealing ladies bras and thongs and wearing them on his run BUT ..on the bright side, the patch is still 8 lunar cycles away , plenty of time ! So dont move from that door sir !

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

Hi,

unfortunately not. There are rumours the rewritten graphics-engine is almost ready and it could be another beta-patch will be out shortly. However, nothing official yet.

sorry Slap ..but that one hair comb over wasnt working anyway biggrin

..and you know it was just a rile up..i mean 26 % of the time most of my parts arrive and still manage to resemble something that was once a pc component. In fact , the broken ram stick i got a while back glued together just fine ! i mean it never worked but it looked like it should have, then the dropped and kicked to my door mobo was a slight hassle but nothing a good aircon system blowing directly into the case wont remedy for the heat problem .

enjoy smile

System up and running, pilot officer Slap almost ready for action smile
So far I've installed the steamy COD (and ROF) and now need to sort out my HOTAS/TrackIR settings etc

I had a quick fly/try and COD seems to be struggling with my GTX460 in general(jerky/low frame rates when around busy areas/multiple aircraft etc); most settings on medium I think. My first impressions where that, apart from the extra eye-candy, COD makes you "feel" more like your flying and interacting with surroundings when compared to IL2...Fab.
I'm really looking forwards to the ride as hardware and patches catch up...

Any advice of what in-game and graphic card settings one should be looking to tweak?

Cheers!

My specs:

GeForce GTX 560Ti 2048MB
i5-2500K 3.30GHz (@4.2)
Asus P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68 (
OCZ ZX Series 850W
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s (Win7 Pro, COD)
500GB SATA 6Gb/s 16MB
P8Z68-V GEN3 Intel Z68
BitFenix Shinobi USB3.0 Gaming Case
Kingston HyperX Genesis Grey
DVD±RW SATA
Gelid Tranquillo CPU Cooler

Avoid clouds at all costs, these are the real FPS killers at the moment.
