Another stuff, this is the 96L6 All Altitude radar, can be used alone as an EWR, and it's a part of S-400 complex:
Mobile Radar trailer:

Operator panel inside trailer, first level "what's inside ?":

Operator work place, whith back light on and back light off:

maintaining and calibrating service, second level "what's inside ?":

My last discovered is unexpected thing at all ! S-300 Computers calculator !

Computer's Rack enclosure, (old system):

and Computer control and test panel (old system):

Computer's Rack enclosure, (new systems):

and Computer control and test panel (new systems):

The old computer was "40Y6" :
It was 3 Parallel computers, each one with 36-bit (32 data + 4 check bits), and 10Mhz.
and in addition of 2 computers with 24-bit bus width. All were 5 Computers !
Of the three main hosts were always at least 2 required.

The main memory weigh 240kg. (!)
100Kbyte Few realized with ferrite toroidal core memories.
Their technology was from the 50/60er years.

Communication with the computer: Translated with paper tape and printer paper. (25 Kg)

The most important device that communicated between the computer "40Y6" and the technician was the door
of the computer (Computer control and test panel), it contained some external switches and status indicators.
Inside, however, there were rows of miniature toggle switch to display the register contents one LED per bit.

For the modernized S-300, the old computer "40Y6" (10 Mhz) was replaced by the new computer "Elbrus-90 micro". (150/500 Mhz).

SAM "Hercules" is just great if it would be.

However it is not our Russian air defense system as I understand it.

Well, I liked to mind!

Thank Hpasp!
