Just picked up the X52 Pro. I am creating a profile for IL2 Sturmovik COD. I want to create a profile that will utilize all 3 modes (takeoff/landing,air combat, bombing).
now to my problem. I want to create some commands that require the pinkie switch to be activated. For example I have "external follow view" assigned to POV 2 "down" . The software has this command in all 3 modes. Now, I want to assign "glance to dashboard" to Pinkie + POV 2 "down". When I put this command in the Mode 1 Pinkie column, all 3 modes + pinkie are now assigned to "glance to dashboard", "external follow" is replaced in all modes banghead The Saitek support is not very helpful. Anyone know what I need to do here ? any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I start every profile the same way, I first create a list of keys all named and you can do this on the same button over and over till you've created a list. When assigning, every key across modes is going to adopt the first thing you put in any column so you just go to the ones you have a different assignment for and pick it from the list or pick "do nothing" and that blanks it out. Try to be concise in your names and remember it's alphabetic so you name things so you can find it ex. "Man.GearUp" and "Man.GearDn" it's a tedious task but it's so much easier to work with. I have 2 Modes set up, 1 for Take-offs/Landings and 2 for Combat and it is very intuitive and easy to use once you remember how it's assigned and every one of my Flight Sims are assigned the same way. You'll likely get more help from someone who uses it daily than you will from Saitek Support they've never been very prompt on responding to support tickets.

In STT Profile Editor, switch to grid view, it's much easier there...
