Ok, well, at least with the Typhoon I can say it's NOT MY FAULT. biggrin

David was supposed to make a new set of wing textures and then pass it back to me for the addition of the car door.

As for the Hampden I still can't find it on my HD. Might need John to send it to me again.

Hi Ray,

As far as the Typhoon is concerned, it is a while since I exchanged mails with David and at the time he was having computer problems, but as I recall he did not seem aware that he was supposed to be doing anything with the wings - I expect he will tell us if that is wrong. When IM painted his Typhoons a year or so ago I seem to remember he had problems with the wings and somebody - either John or yourself fixed them, but you will need to talk to him about that. As far as I am aware the only changes needed are the cockpit of course, and optional unfaired 20mm cannon for the earlier version, if that is possible (like the ones on the Hurricane IIb that Mike has been painting for DAW). Of course if you really want you could take the cannon off completely and do the Mk1a with 12 mg and perhaps even do the even earlier version with the metal rear cockpit fairing the pilots hated due to lack of rear view. Then there is the Tornado with the twin rows of exhausts each side and the unreliable Vulture engine. I guess it all depends on having the right FM available.

I seem to recall fixing the wings for IM, including rounding off the wheels and repositioning them as well.

Then I sent it over to David because the texture files we were working with were actually from a HR Tempest and the wings are decidedly different.

That's the last I remember.

Hi Ray,

Well your memory is probably a lot better than mine and yes, the Tempest wings are very different to those of the Typhoon - I will have a word with Mike and get back on that soon.
