I have never visited this part of SimHQ forums, never even realised it was here. Glad I did, now i've heard about this project! It makes me very excited. Any predicted release date yet?

As others have maybe alluded, CloD has left a bitter taste in a lot of mouths, and these people are feeling very left in the cold. Time to swoop them (me) up.

Failing that, just a nice, ultra realistic series of warbirds to fly around in would be nice.

I wonder how long we're going to be kept waiting as far as the long term plan with this thing.

There was a chatter on a forum (aka rummer) that it will be 3-4 months.

So, what plane would we want as a legendary adversary for the P-51. I vote for the FW-190. Their flight characteristics fit each other really well. Leave the Bf-109 for the Spitfire as a legendary couple of adversaries.

It could be the A6Mx as well, not necessarily Euro theater only.

However, I'd personally prefer a 190A over a D or any 109. The A was very versatile, the D was never in the weeds.

Yes, it was. D-9s flew a lot of tactical bombing and strafing missions in 1945.
