Ever taken an RPG to your tank from a building? Of course you have! Ever wanted to see thru those dang windows? Well this maybe a solution for you! Ok this started as a simple fix for windows. However, as I suspected the interior of buildings have no normals facing you. What this means is that you "see thru walls". There is no easy fix for this, so I whipped up the "carpet compromise". This allows you to see behind the windows while minimizing the interesting X Ray glassess thru walls deal. This is not a perfect solution by far, but it is quick and easy. Some folks can put up with the compromise solution, others will find it annoying as hell. You have been warned =). This will be a stand alone micro mod for SABOW. Due to its compromise nature it will not be in anything I release in future.    A semi-historical campaign....

What is this mini mod? The mini mod is a collection of modified SABOW units, squad, or teams that I created for my campaigns. Most of it is simply "rebranded" equipment that is not present on one side or the other in default SABOW. Others are custom formations such as deticated anti tank teams and such. There have been 3 released versions so far starting with Crescent Moon. Somewhere along the way i started adding in little models of of mine. The energa anti tank rifle grenade for instance. For next release (sometime after next patch) I have included an M1 style helmet, g3a3 battle rifle, rdg2 smoke hand grenade, 40 mm rifle fired smoke grenade, of course the energa rifle grenade and modified red unita head gear you see in Operation Safari and Dystopia. The goal has been to seamlessly intergrate within SABOW. If you always thought it was there then I did good.    Custom made G3a3 with 40mm smoke nade. Part of mini mod V1.9.  Custom made M2HB 12.7mm (.50 cal) heavy machine gun. Part of mini mod V1.9. Custom made F5E tiger2 light fighter. (almost done) Will be a part of Part of mini mod VARY soon. mini mod V1.9 squads and units.

Trolling for some feed back from any of the 61 people who have DL this stuff so far. Well watcha think? Two vary different missions and I'll be starting another one here pretty quick. Feed back will influence how I put it together. So if you have played any of the newer versions, or the older versions TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!!!. Oh and have you encountered the energa yet? Or had ai blow up any stuff with it?

Well I'm entering an internet black out time. Just moved out to the boon docks. A couple miles away from any good internet (so close, but far enough away). So until some crappy internet satellite gets set up, no net for me. But I get to be surrounded by horses and llamas? So until then no updates or fixes (if needed) unless I head into town to a coffee house. So like 90% of the game playing public no crashing my DCS blackshark online or up/downloading maps and mods.

Thx for your mods mr flashburn. You remind me of a guy over at battlefront called fuser (combat mission battle for Normandy) who's appetite for turning out beautifully modded skins for vehicles matches your own relentless drive it seems for sabow.

Looks like new beta patch is crashing Russian version............let me know if this is happening to German/English versions. Just Downloaded new patch so ill try and fix stuff soon. Hard to do without internet.

Ok I'm seeing people still downloading minimod V1.4 and missions, but without the quick fix. If you are running FEB graviteam beta with V1.4 minimod your fine. If you are running March graviteam beta with V1.4 mini mod and missions WITHOUT quick fix, it will crash. With quick fix it should be fine. Make sure graviteam patch is at bottom of list, followed by V1.4 flashburn mini mod, and quick fix at the top. So....
Quick fix V1.4 mini mod March Graviteam patch.
Quick fix is for all language versions. Just had to change mini mod ammo classes to match up with changes in Graviteam March patch. However it appears the changes made by Graviteam now do not properly report ammo numbers when a rifle class weapon can fire different types of ammo (rifle grenade).
When next patch is released I will package it all back up again in one easy file.
