Oh certainly. The PFM carries 200 rounds. If I had known, I might have started my campaign with that plane. I am enjoying the challenge, at least. I'm sure most other variants carry more than the F-13. Though the MiG-21PF has no cannon at all. Avoid flying that one, and remember that if one is chasing you!

Another good thing about flying these is that the mission planners don't send you on any 1000mi treks behind enemy lines. All the missions generated are quick and dirty due to the short range of the aircraft.

Fighter aircraft always need gun ammo. Don't be so quick to forget the lessons of Vietnam! D:

Yes and yes.

My favourite versions are anything beyond the -M. The extra Atolls and (theoretically) SAU or LASUR stuff come in handy.

Yeah, that's a definately nice change from the endlessly long F-4 missions.

Allright, Heretic. Now I'm on your turf.

Yes, yes, defend the achievements of the working class in a not too peaceful competition between the systems! biggrin

Too bad I don't have my book on the LSK available. I could've told you a bit about this bird.

Also, I've done a few camo variations of the LSK for a FSX MiG-21MF model.

Making a camo for an LSK bird is kind of an effort
I suppose, as I heard no camo scheme on a plane is alike.
Well, that will be a challenge!

Just go paint crazy. wink

"There was two methods of doing camo in the LSK:
1) During overhauls in Dresden with kind-of "official" colors and patterns
2) In the respective Geschwader with whatever paint there was and the main point being having spots in green and brown on the plane.

These paints were done after the latter method. Furthermore, no official guideline for doing camo existed, so the fighters were all kind of patterns, color variations and color decay."
(From my readme for the FSX Fishbed's paints)

There's a few profiles in camo colors on the web for inspiration (Google!).
