Couldn't wait. I ordered it.
I'm really looking forward to trying it out. The only flight sim I've played that really started to capture the feeling of flying a small, single engine plane is IL-2. It's the way the controls get mushy at slow speeds and the visual/audio buffetting that precedes a stall. I can tell in IL-2 when my wheels touch and if I've bounced or settled onto the runway.
REALLY looking forward to giving this a try in FSX!

I only did a quick flight with the Baron and Cessna (I don't own any addon aircraft ), and Accufeel makes a big difference in precisely those situations that you mention. The sound feedback you get while taxiing is also very much improved. I don't think Accufeel influences the aircraft's stall characteristics themselves, it just adds the clues right before you enter the stall. For best results, you may want to combine it with an addon that inserts head movement feedback, such as Ezdok.

Very few seem to be having any issues and most issues seem to be system or FSX issues, which is of course great. Nevertheless just in case we put together a little FAQ with handy links to things like alternate dx installers and the all important sim-connect repair for FSX. Just purchased after work today, and test flew it with the Carenado A36 Bonanza out of Friday Harbor.
All I can say, is that this has transformed FSX for me.......the additional motions etc just make the sim so much more realistic. I tip my cap to everybody involved in this project, well done.
Looking forward to trying it with a 737 etc, but been reading that some more appropriate sounds for jets might be created? Either way, love the purchase, has transformed my sim for me.
Would recommend to all.
Andrew.

hehe I'm not much into warbirds but if A2A did GA airplanes (besides the slow cub), then my credit card would be in deep trouble.
I pretty much fly their P40 now as a GA and bush plane and it's a blast, this Accu-Feel pack will be as close as we can get for GA planes for now... I predict they will sell many copies, let's just hope it convinces them to do a full GA plane, the SuperCub would be a logical first one.
+1 squared to that!

Sorry, it's really a question. I'm not criticizing A2A or anyone. Is this addon only enhances fsx sound effects? I tried it with IRIS T-6A, Dino's F-14D and T-45C, CS C-130, Aerosoft Bronco X, and stock Cub. No change whatsoever for the OV-10 (though probably because engines sound is so loud), mild sound enhancement for T-6A and C-130, and a significant sound enhancement for all of Dino's planes and the stock Cub. However, other than some jolts when taxiing, I noticed no enhancements physics wise. Tried to make them stall, overspeed, high-G turns, there were virtually no vibration or buffets. Do we have to have FFB joystick to feel it? I'm satisfied enough with the sounds, but since some people say Accu-feel "transformed their experience", I did expect something more than sound effect enhancements and a view random jolts during taxi.

Try picking something that doesn't have built-in stall or overspeed effects, then get into level flight and cut the throttle and keep attitude until it stalls, you should experience a stall effect with shaking and altitude drop.
Also you should see an effect when you go overspeed, though I can't recall if it does any shaking or not.
Both of those are easy to test and repeat in the same flight enabling and disabling Accu-Feel, if you don't see any difference then maybe it is not working correctly for you?

Ok, tried more stock and 3rd party planes with Accufeel. I think not every addon work well with it. The results are different from plane to plane. So far, only FSX Acceleration F/A-18 works as I expected.

Yep for me it differs from plane to plane, and I found one or two where I preferred to tune down the stall or overspeed effect because the airplane has a good one builtin (Baytower RV7). Overall I really like what this addon does for some of my less modern planes (Carenado, Lionheart etc.)
You might want to check their forums to see if anyone else had the same problem, Lewis posted a link a couple of posts above.

Yep. I agree. I like Accue-Feel too. I wish it was more extreme than it is.

We leaned on the conservative side with Accu-Feel, as this is a global enhancement. The goal was to create a solid base, and we did accomplish this. So now, what we've done is accumulate customer comments, little improvements, and a few new, low-risk features for the next update.
Sometimes it is hard to tell if Accu-Feel is running, because it blends in with FSX. You can always hit the Q key to turn off FSX sounds, and just hear what Accu-Feel is adding, in terms of sound.
Scott.
