I saw this last night and I highly recommend it. As always, Denzel Washington was fantastic and even Ryan Reynolds managed to hold his own and be pretty convincing. If you enjoy spy/political thrillers with plenty of good small arms action, this is for you. And yes, there's a pretty good "twist" at the end of the film.

Denzel ROCKS, pure and simple.
Will watch this next week.

You should watch "Burried" w/Ryan Reynolds. I loved it, think Phone booth but under ground...

I would not recommend seeing this film. I think the Bourne series did this type of flick much better.
I actually felt sorry for Ryan Reynolds - he is always a day late and a dollar short going up against Denzel (who was awesome!).
I would say rent the film or even better get it free from your local library when available.
edit...ugh, only 53% review on RT! I did not think it was that bad. I would give it a solid 70% rating.

Local library? What's that? haha best kept secret. If one does not mind waiting why pay for movies and music when you can get it for free (or at least for your tax money)?

Well, that's the real rub. Frankly, my time is worth more to me than almost anything else.
BTW, I haven't looked, but please tell me Tony Scott didn't direct this.

The Jedi Master No he didn't. Some director I've never heard of directed it.

I've just watched it and not sure what the twist was at the end?

I've just watched it and not sure what the twist was at the end? Brendan Gleeson's character being the traitor?

but hardly Denzel's best.
It wasn't his best by a long shot but it was still a solid movie IMHO. When you've been in movies like "Glory", "Man on Fire" and "Training Day", it's very hard for all of your subsequent films to reach the same level.
