Reviews are worthless, especially with the public. Most just chime in at the extremes of like/dislike and score the same way.
*Descriptions* of a movie (or game), other than opinion, now that's worth something.

I just got back from seeing it, I loved it, tons of action and "hoorah" scenes. The part Skater talked about was BS, but overall I thought it was great. No one said boo when leaving the theater and 99% left after the credits were done. One of the Seals names they showed who passed is from the town I work in, Exeter, NH (Harty)

I went to see it based on the reviews of it here at SimHQ. Myself and the kids enjoyed it. I thought it was very good and not the typical Hollywood junk.

Meh
Seems like most of the great movies get good scores, and most of the crap movies get bad scores.
Take it or leave it, but that's the trend I've noticed.

Critics get too carried away focusing on a movie's artistic points or supposed "message" (or lack thereof). They completely miss the bigger picture: movies are entertainment.

There were three things that really irked me: The first was a bullet proof pickup truck tailgate. The second was that 90% of the kills were headshots. And the last was that there was no reticle in the EoTechs when they did first person shots.

Well the gunfire in Heat had the added advantage of having the sounds echoing off of the buildings in downtown L.A.

And Heat was the only movie (that I know of) that actually kept the real, recorded gunshots instead of dubbing them over in post-production.
