I'm with you Magnum. GRAW2 had its flaws, like the floaty imprecise targeting, but it was a treasure trove of MP gaming. About 50 maps, many retro favorites...all for free. The best host options for setting up matches just how you want, PvP or co-op scenarios. Turn on friendly fire, turn off all friend or foe indicators, turn off the UAV and have a killer round of blind siege. And of course NO UNLOCKABLES, or rank. You weren't penalized for playing a private room of 16. There were perks, based on the role you took on, but nothing that imbalanced the game. Most people didn't even know they were there.
I'll get GR since it's been such a long weight and to give it the benefit of the doubt. Once. Conviction wasn't nearly what I wanted Splinter Cell to be, but it turned out to be really good on it's own terms.
