It's only 2x, just played a few tanks and each only got 2x. Thought it too good to be true to have so many 5x days in one month.

I don't think so, no. Us EU folk can't play with guys on the US server and vice versa, though the devs have been talking about "multi clusters" or some such technical mumbo-jumbo that would eventually allow us to do so.

I'm still at it. I cycle through my favorites. US: M5 Stuart, M24 Chaffee, T20, M10 Wolverine. Russian: T-50. German: Lowe. French: Hotchkiss H35.

I originality bought the Lowe to grind money like most people but now most of my tanks make enough as it is and XP is what takes the most time. I was thinking of taking the Lowe's crew and using it to grind up through one of the German lines as they are now working one their second set of secondary skills.

I have dropped back on a few tanks to grind the crews up better. For instance I have an M36 but dropped back to the M10 because it takes so much XP to go from the M36 to the T25 to build the crew up to %100 on the secondary skill. Now Im realy learning to use the M10 and might just stick with it.

I forgot to mention My T82, probably the funnest tanks in the arsenal to me. Not a real XP or money earner but quick tank with a decent gun and you can make a good contribution to your team with it.

Still chugging away at it: have really gotten into playing SPGs after avoiding them for so long and I find out that I'm not too bad at 'em - best run I had was 6 tanks and I picked up Defender, Reaper, and Top Gun in that match and, usually, I pull down 2-4 kills in a game (when I get someone taking care of defense for me, that is). Also, thanks to years of flight sims, I can pull off the occasional arty shot on the buggers who are moving. Those sort of hits never get old.

Now, the friendly I accidentally blasted yesterday would disagree about what I just said (in nice, 4 letter words), but I honestly enjoy playing arty. I find it relaxing in a way.

Which arty? I've found the Grille (German) arty to be very accurate, so much so that I can sometimes nail moving targets AFTER they've disappeared, basically making a "blind shot."

I had a 4-Star reply when I apologised for a TK earlier today...

Those blind kill shots are quite satisfying. There's areas on most maps where you just know something will be hidden.
