Okay, I am looking for a WORKING profile for my TM Warthog so I can use it with Falcon 4 BMS... so far what I got from the net (dimebug, zelegend, etc.) don't seem to be working properly. I'm not sure if I'm loading the profile properly or if I am working with the wrong keystrokes file? Anyway, I'd like to have a working profile and if someone has one, please share and tell me how you set it up in Falcon 4 BMS.

Thanks!

Sharing my way smile

I personally took down Mud's profile, which you can find on the benchmarksims forum, under
"Joysticks & Input Devices" -> "Warthog". This one comes with it's own key file, and a nice pdf describing the profile.

(Personally i modified it heavily for my own needs, and such that i could use it with my own key file instead.)

* Take down the zip file and extract the files.
* Put the key file in the config folder of BMS.
* Put the TMC & XSLS files in the TARGET Script folder. (This is where I put it, should work elsewhere as long as you know where it is).
The XSLS file is probably not necessary, but i like to have it nereby just in case.

For activating the profile, i created and use a shortcut on the desktop with these paths:
"Target":
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\x64\TARGETGUI.exe" -r "C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\scripts\BMS 4.32 - Mud.tmc"

"Start in":
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET"

This is the most memory friendly launch of a profile, rather than launching it inside the TARGET software.
Obviously replace with your own path to the profile and software.

After this enter BMS settings screen, and load Mud's Key file. And make sure you set all the axis'.

I'm using Morphine's profile. Very comprehensive with some shift functions added in. Make sure you use the provided key file.

I'm using Morphine's profile succcessfully with my WH and BMS Falcon. The biggest headache I found was getting all the axis to stay put in Falcon despite saving/applying.
For some reason all the default axis are all over the place for me so had to re-assign everything. I especially like the throttle radar cursor control, took a bit of practice but it's second nature now after a week.

What i did to ensure i didn't loose axis', was to write protect some of the files. I did this after setting all axis' and controls, then save and apply setting, and exit BMS. Then write protect certain files in the config folder.

Wasn't sure which files though so did it to a bunch of them.
*.Key file (The one I use)
*.POP file (No idea what it is for, so just in case)
axismapping.dat (Pretty sure this is the one holding axis/Controller info)
joystick.cal (Pretty sure this is the one holding axis/Controller info)
windowconfig.dat (Not sure what it's for, but it's "Date Modified" changed at the time, so just in case)

*.lbk (I had this write protected in the beginning, but pretty sure this is the logbook, so i removed the write protection today)

BMS hasn't lost any axis since, for me.

I'm probably lame but I'm using the F4:AF profile that came with it, and have just made a few modifications along the way as I noticed differences. Never lost an axis, either.

Lol, I would actually prefer a F4AF profile, if nothing but for the keystrokes. The tutorial really needs to be updated, the AF manual keeps on talking about key presses, it's time to "translate" it to use terms like OSB, TMS, DMS, etc.
