I thought this would be a joke image of the logo, and then it turns out the link actually takes me to the real logo. Who cares! :-)

One comment I saw on another site about the logo went along these lines: the design company (Pentagram) is having a laugh at MS's expense, since they likely use Macs exclusively.

That seems about the only logical explanation for the pure awfulness of that logo.

But, then again, to each his own. I'm sure loads of people love it.

I agree with Bogus. using Vista at home......XP and work and gradually upgrading folks to Win7 as we replace user PCs ...now Win8...who gives a "BLEEP"

I have figured out something about Microsoft. Every other version is great. So now I try to buy on the second release. Vista sucked, 7 awesome. If you go back in time, you will it pretty much works like that with their releases.
