Very cool! immediate buy for me, just thinking of all the great non accusim planes I have in the virtual hangar that will benefit from this.

That looks like one of the best addons I've ever seen for FSX. I wonder what the price will be?

Their other Accusim addons range from $19.99 (Cub) to $29.99 (B17/B377) so seems to be related to the complexity/work required to model it, so I would expect something similar in that range.

Not sure how I would feel if I had bought two ore more of the aircraft specific Accu-sim packages for $20-$30, and then they offered a universal package for $20 - $30.

Of course I haven't bought any of their stuff before, so it's a non-issue for me!

It seems to me that this universal package includes some of the Accu-sim features, such as the sound dynamics, but it won't add the advanced systems modelling to your default C172, for example. Plenty of reasons still to get the aircraft specific addons then smile

Undercarriage lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?

Yeah the real accusim packages have a bunch of other added stuff specific to the particular airplane, especially the super realistic engine/hydraulic/electrical systems and also wear/damage modeling.

So while this brings a lot of welcome accusim stuff to other non-accusim aircraft there is no concern of this overlapping the full products, I still love my accusim P40 and could only wish there were a ton of A2A accusim GA aircraft I could buy, right now the Katana4X and RealAir Dukes are the only other things close to it.

This will definitely be a welcome thing.

AFAIK, this is nothing like a dedicated Accusim aircraft, more about better sounds/physics, but nothing like the extremely detailed systems modeling in true Accusim planes.

If you fly FSX with any kind of regularity, you really owe it to yourself to try out a dedicated Accusim plane. Spit is my personal favorite, but the P-40 and J-3 are right up there, also.

hehe I'm not much into warbirds but if A2A did GA airplanes (besides the slow cub), then my credit card would be in deep trouble.

I pretty much fly their P40 now as a GA and bush plane and it's a blast, this Accu-Feel pack will be as close as we can get for GA planes for now... I predict they will sell many copies, let's just hope it convinces them to do a full GA plane, the SuperCub would be a logical first one.

You'd think, but there's not even a pre-order link...

Also, home come every time a bunch of simhqers drive around in circles it makes headlines on this site (I kid because I love iRacing :)), but when awesome stuff like this happens it's only in the civ forum?

Heheh I'm guessing because someone does the hard work of capturing video, then editing and taking screenshots and then submitting an AAR article for publishing :-)

Not meaning to be snarky, just that I thought about doing the same for FSX flights, but then realized I barely have enough time to fly nevermind those other additional things, but thinking about it helps me value and appreciate all the extra work these SimHQ folks put into it, maybe once my daughters get older and work requires less oncall I'll tackle it...

This add-on would make for a rather interesting review project for SimHQ's front page... Headline: "Breathing new life into FSX: A2A Simulations' 'Accu-Feel' Reviewed". I'm sure some of the premier FS publications will be all over this ("PC Pilot", etc.)
