It's a beauty. Unfortunately without a failure model. Robert Randazzo said he talked to Scott from A2A Simulations - let's hope the latter can develop an Accusim package for this one.
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the universe is for it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

Looks great. Looking forward to it. I love the old classic liners from the golden age, However, I always feel out of place flying planes from the 50 & 60's in FSX with moder airports and scenery.
I just can't get in the mood. I guess thats why I always gravitate to modern aircraft. It just goes with the scenery better. I wish there was an addon that could change the airports an cites to match the period with a flip of a swicth. I know My Traffic has a feature simular to this, but Im talking about a global switch that would, for example make NY look like it did in the 50's, even change the animated cars to 50's era. I guess this would be a hugh project and be almost impossible, but cool non the less.

Fair point, but you have to remember that a lot of these old birds are still in service today across the country (and the world) giving tireless service in freight hauling operations. Even here in Charlotte up until a few years ago we used to regularly see DC-3s coming and going hauling freight for Sabre Air Cargo. Pretty cool to see DC-3s lining up on final mixed in with Airbus A-340s and the newest regional jets. BeachAV8R

I've been looking forward to something like this for a very long time. Now we don't have to be stuck with semi-pro FS9 ports (MAAM and Uiver) or Aeroplane Heaven's "Jokes of Flight" series anymore. I'm very glad to see old prop liners getting PMDG treatment. Can't wait. Now A2A, how'bout a DC-3 ? (hint hint ) Cheers Nico

PMDG build beautiful models. I wonder if they'd ever consider making a B-29?

An A2A accusim version of the B-29 Superfortress, would be sick! And I mean sick in the nicest of ways. They'd probably model all of that airplanes engine problems, too. You'd have to fly it on-line, with at least two other people to get off of the ground and stay in the air. That would be some airplane. I'd want to form an FSX B-29 wing.
