LOL, that landing looked a lot my my first attempt in an A-10C ... Except I only took off one wing tip, not both.

Will this be something like a Joint Ops ( http://joint-ops.com/ ) training academy?

No - unfortunately it won't be interactive training. Heck..that would be the blind leading the blind anyway.. wink I'm undecided on the exact format right now - I'm still working that out. I have a plan in my mind though..

That landing was a result of some aerobatics I was doing about 10 miles from the field. During one of my little wingover attempts I got a dual flameout (you can only negative-G for about 20 seconds or something?).. So I had no engines and no idea how to quickly get a relight (I'm sure we'll get there in training..) So that was a gliding landing where I ended up too high and too fast.. LOL.. Just plunked it down...

biggrin

Not to worry - the engines are already off - so just wait around for 180s and the ground crew will levitate you nicely and fix you up in no time wink

Reminds me of a mission I ended with a shot-out starboard tyre. Came in for a belly landing - landed, skidded to a halt sideways, then waited patiently while they fixed up the plane.

At this point I watched in horror as I levitated into the air - new wheels and undercarriage appeared, then slowly made it's way back into the aircraft before the "ground crew" dropped me from 8ft back onto the runway.

"Wait 150s for repair" then RE-appeared.

DOH! banghead

Who knew they'd take my gear lever position to heart wink

Every time I play this game there's something unexpected and fun going on! biggrin

Martin...

Please elaborate, are we going to be treated to some training missions? videos?

This would be amazing.
