In Dvina or in Volhov systems, how can we Know how many missiles stile available, if we have 12 in beginning and some of them are already fired ?? (in Ashuluk polygon for example !) Just remember, how many was already launched. (or take notes on paper, as in reality)

Hi, I just tried another one (and believe it is for all of them). When rotate epsilon to zero degree, the boresight stayed on zero degrees and clutters too... This is when you locked your SNR down. From now, all elevation change is disabled, until you press the release button. (manual page 21, button 4) Then switch on "<5 km" mode and boresight should going 3 degrees left, but it seems that the SNR goes up, and boresight is in the clutters again. Actually when H<5 is switched, the SNR elevates 3 degree mechanically and the boresight goes electronically down 3 degree. So at the end of the change, it is pointing to the same elevation. BUT You locked the system in elevation, so it cannot go up mechanically, until you press jam release. Then push unlock button, and suddently clutters jumps up with 3 degrees.... If the zerowing of epsilon is done in "<5 km" mode already activated, everything is ok...

I thought that green or red led light have this function, because all was marqued PU, from 1 to 6, as launcher 1 to 6 ... I don't remember see them lighting or flashing, and even no indication about in the manual, except for centered green group light, for missile readiness to be launched, .... then, what's for the leftmost green group light ? and the red group light around the watch ?

Left green PU1..6 is signaling the old V-755 types of missiles with 2min gyro spin-up time. (not simulated) Right green PU1..6 is signaling the newer V-755U, V-759 types of missiles with 30sec gyro spin-up time. Middle green PU1..6 is signaling the missile is prepared for launch.
Red PU1..6 is for "Signal Imitator" training missile. (not simulated)

Waaaou !! I didn't expect so fast answer ! thank's ! I was preparing another questions about missile preparation : In S-125 is seems to be clear and simple, we can know the missile situation at any time : 1- only missile 2 and 4 present and ready, for canal 2 ready, missile 1 and 3 empty, and canal 1 off. 2- all 4 missile present and ready, both canal 1 and 2 ready. 3- all 4 missile present but ready, both canal 1 and 2 not ready, must push button 3, to make the missile ready. 4- no missile present, launcher empty, both canal 1 and 2 not ready, must push button 4, to order crew to reload missile in launcher. But in Dvina or Volhov, I haven't understand somme of the missile's preparation procedure:1- How can we know how many launchers with missile present on it, are ready to the 30's preparation mode ?(I think no way until we turn preparation missile knob to H -to prepare all missile present-, to see how many lights goes on). 2- when missiles go to "hold cooling mode" after the 5 minutes of ready state -(after gyros's overheated)- - how many times take this "hold cooling mode" ? - after this "hold cooling mode", the missile go to the 30's preparation mode automatically, ormust FCO use preparation missile knob again, or there is other issue ? - How to order crew to reload missile after launching ? ( or it's an automatic operation ?) - How times take the reload operation ?I noticed that if I turned missile's preparation knob to 0 during missile preparation phase, and even if missile is in prepared state mode, (waiting PUSK!), it will take more than 30"sec in next missile's preparation phase (~1'min 30"sec), is that normal ?

this question will be the most #@`~?%"# stupid question in all this forum ! when preparing last question I noticed that: Why the first missile in the first launcher is in Blue color -(not as others similar in green color)- ?

Nice workplace... Not so attractive panel ! there is just simple lighted pushing button, no more, no switch (left, middle, right), no Knob to adjust, no wheel to rotate .....

is there any real HD pics for inside view (behind panels), what inside the blocks, behind operator's panel ! of the system you simulate, Dvina, Volhov, Newa, Vega ... ? These are shelfs that can be pulled out from the rack. (using the black handles at their sides)...
