Every flight sim I've had I have always wanted to find out about the marking and signs on the taxiways but never did. In MP I was always lucky and followed others to the runway or zoomed out an external view to see which way to go from the HAS lol.

Does anyone have any info/docs/pdfs on the markings and signs? Especially confusing when landed and taxiing to parking and not knowing where to park it. The valet parking is terrible! smile

The current map of DCS is very lacking on airfield signs. I have a feeling that Nellis when released will be different and have the proper signs...

WC, don't start with your white zone stuff again...

Taxiway signs, markers, hold short lines, runway length remaining signs, etc, would all be great additions...if they really exist in the Black Sea locations (I just know what they have at US airfields). Anybody have photos of these airfields?

Mace, you can pick up used copies of The Air Pilot's Manual: v. 2: Aviation Law and Meteorology by Trevor Thom on Ebay, this is used as part of the UK PPL/NPPL and has all the relevant info and more,, thumbsup

You will see some of these at the sim airfields.

More references below. Note these are explicitly for US airports. Airports elsewhere will have their own marking conventions.
