I am hoping to re-do my pit and was wondering if anyone could help me. Seeing as we have a few actual A-10 crew members here, I was hoping some could simply take a tape measure with them the next time they climb into an A-10 cockpit and take some measurements.


This is the first measurement I am looking for, which is basically the distance between the left and right console.



The next one is the distance from the top of the front console leg bay to the floor.



The third one is the distance from the edge of the seat to the forward edge of the side console, or basically where the front console starts. I do know that the side console angles up a bit, but I am looking for the horizontal distance from the seat to the front console. That or two measurements of the side console (length of the incline, length of the edge-of-seat to where the incline starts) would be great. And the fourth one is the distance from the top of the seat to the floor. Some have mentioned that the ACES seat can be moved up and down so either the lowest or highest setting would do, though both measurements would be great.

Nope, that's sorted. The rear-most panels on my side consoles flip up, one for piddle packs, one for used tissues and empty crisp bags.

Don't wanna get them mixed up lol
