It's such a tough decision as I don't have time to learn them both! But one part of me wants to fly the blackshark but the a10 lover says a10! If they had a hind I would go with that instantly! how is the combat different? As in tactics? Sorry I've mostly played ww2 and ww1 stuff other than fc2

The Ka-50 is very much Hide and seek against the enemy, the A-10 less so. I can't remember the amount of times in the Shark I've hurriedly crested a ridge, to find a tank gun I didn't expect pointed straight at me. BOOM!

The A-10 has a much broader view of the battlefield and can stay way above most threats, and can pick things off at leisure. The Ka-50 has to be much much more patient to get a picture of the battlefield, and only then plan a safe attack accordingly.

I'm tempted to get a10 first for mid flight refuelling and flying in formation with other a10s

will do, its even more appealing now with the release of combined arms...it looks like its going to open a really fun multiplayer enviroment even more fun thinking that tank your about to hit might be a player

I got black shark and a10 I've not had time to try them yet, but just looking through the manual of the shark and I'm thinking wtf have I got myself into lol 534 pages, but it's great to see a sim dev produce a manual like this like they done in the old days.

Certainly different to learning the commands of rof or ww2 sims lol
