I bought A-10C, but I'm starting to think I should have went with Black Shark 2. I'm more interested in flying then micromanagement of systems.

Funny story; the A-10C micromanages itself.
In the Ka-50, you have to do the micromanaging. wink

I prefer the shark to the A10C , it is more fun to fly

If you are getting BS , make sure you buy the Full BS2 version , otherwise you will
be left behind until ED allow us to join the DCS World, ED didn't think that
the BS pilots with 3 years flying it would be any use helping them test it .... weird

When I flew the a10a in fc2 it was quite fun, I've been tempted to get bs for quite some time, how is the a10c like over the a? How hard are managing the weapon systems ok the shark? I use to get confused when flying the a10 and f15 in flaming cliffs 2 smile I too am unsure which to get smile

The Ka-50 is Harder to fly and harder to fight in, but a simpler aircraft. The A-10 is Easier to fly and easier to fight in, but is much more complex.

The Ka-50 is far more satisfying, for me anyway.

When you say simpler aircraft but harder to fly whys that? And the same for combat? Are the systems more complex to learn and operate?

Because complex aircraft tend to do a lot of the work for you. Also, helicopters tend to demand more of your brain cycles to actually fly than fixed wing aircraft.

The weapon systems on the Ka-50 are actually simple to understand and operate, but the aircraft is more difficult to handle overall - navigation systems, datalink systems, etc are less automated. Proximity to the ground demans your constant attention, and the lack of a radar warning receiver means that you either don't go where there are fighters, or you have to be insanely paranoid.
