Unlucky sorry to say Ox.Your guys should never have lost to the English and you had parity until those yellow cards mate. You are going the right way ! True Simbo, Scotland just keep shooting themselves in the face, never mind the foot, to be fair. I made that point in Soupdragons thread here. http://SimHQ.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/ubb/showflat/Number/3511237/Searchpage/1/Main/351881/Words/Biggles07+Rugby/Search/true/Re_well_done_France.html#Post3511237 Not that I give a sh*t though, tbh. A wins a win. GABOS. Game aint based on Sympathy. I travelled among unknown men, In lands beyond the sea; Nor, England! did I know till then What love I bore to thee.
'Tis past, that melancholy dream! Nor will I quit thy shore A second time; for still I seem To love thee more and more.
Among thy mountains did I feel The joy of my desire; And she I cherished turned her wheel Beside an English fire.
Thy mornings showed, thy nights concealed, The bowers where Lucy played; And thine too is the last green field That Lucy's eyes surveyed. Cry God for Harry, England and St George!!!!

The ref on sunday was ridiculous. The yellow card we got was fair, but moving the kicking point 15 meters in front of the error was just wrong.

Which penalty are you on about? The tackling without the ball one? If you kick the ball and are then tackled without it, the penalty is from the spot the ball lands... so if you are within your own 22 give the ball a good old pelt, get tackled / infringed afterwards... it can land on the opposition 5 meter line (first bounce, not where it stops!) and that is where the penalty is given, not where the player was clattered.

The Scots completely self imploded against Wales as well Simbo + Valleyboy, they were blatantly robbed of a try around 60 minutes too.....Which should have been awarded and was wrongly ruled out. At half time, 3-3 and they had the better of the play, by a fair margin. Dave Denton is going to be a great player for Scotland, only a young un' as well. Big future.

Don't worry WillWallace, they can never take your freedom!!! They can take my freedom, as long as we start winning! Being a Scottish rugby supporter is so hard...
Ah, right. I was listening to BBC Radio Scotland commentary (because I don't like Jonathan Davies) and they went on about it as if it was a huge mistake (probably because it was all Scottish guys commentating).

My dad does the same with he commentary, has the radio on for it... though with digital tv and bog standard radio theres a delay in there somewhere!
the try that wasn't... it was technically a try in all honesty, but when you think from teh refs viewpoint he dropped the ball, he wouldnt have seen the players right hand grap it an inch from the floor as it was the wrong side for the ref to see it... and the TMO can't judge on it either as it wasn't in the process of scoring, if he was over the line when that happened it could have 'gone up stairs' to be reviewed... the ref made a call, and it was wrong...
I still think Scotland were lucky not to have more penalties against them, there were a good few rucks where the clearing out was just plain illegal... like when Adam Jones had his shoulder dislocated for the Lions, players taking a 30 yard run up and shoulder barging players out of the ruck, where in other games players have been yellow carded for that ! but the ref decided to leave it go.
Scotland most certainly played better, but just couldnt finish off chances, whereas Wales didn't play too well but could finish off what they created.. apart from the break out from their own line in 78th minute... they should have finished that one off! A pass to Leigh Halfpenny would have resulted in a try, but Jon Davies passed back inside instead!
