The first one arrived in the belly of a Dakota. There was some irony there because the Egyptians had been bombing Tel Aviv with Dakotas(!) Squadron Commander Moddy Allon was so peeved about this that he was waiting for them one morning and when two of them duly arrived he was on hand to shoot both down - the first IAF victory in the Avia and probably in that conflict.
