No idea why this happening, and it just started.
Now a few min. or immediately after I load a game, fan starts spinning really fast and loudly, screen goes black. I can hear the in-game audio so I know it's running. The code on the mobo reads AA, which according to my mobo manual means "System has transitioned into ACPI mode. Interrupt controller is in APIC mode." But I think AA is standard, so that's fine. It seems to be a GPU issue.
I am not sure why games would suddenly be causing the picture to dissapear and the fans to spin way up. I haven't changed any Catalyst Control settings, either. No changes on my end that I have made since this problem began. I did recently add two more monitors but not as an Eyefinity group, and I've running Skyrim w/out problems on the center screen with the side screens idle for several weeks now.
I have 2 MSI 6970 GPUs.
Additonally, but probably not related, I rebooted and for the second time recently my computer didn't recognize the USB 3.0 powered mouse and keyboard, so I unplugged the power, let the system sit, rebooted, and both worked. Basically, I wonder if I should be concerned about any components on this system, which is pretty new.
