In case you didn't know, it's a Lanchester Armored Car.

Just might have to pinch that to go with the RAF armoured cars in Iraq!

Hi Moggy.

It's not a Rolls Royce, FlyRight has one of those, but you could add another set of rear wheels and make it into a 1938 Lanchester AC. wink

This is where I got the model from:
http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/models/Vehicles/Lanchester-Armored-Car.html

Needs repainting though. I don't like the yellow colour. The Grey looks better. wink

Not finished yet Ade, but it will be later this week. I've just got the wheels and boxes to add. wink

Already pinched the Rolls-Royce. The RAF armoured car columns (forerunners of today's RAF Regiment) in Iraq had various types going back to the Great War. The Iraq campaign was probably their last outing.

Moggy did i also pass on an iraqi CV tankette to you??? another Gibbons fixits, its not the right size but if you tried downsizing it you'll lose node integrity...meaning it'll screwup its actual shape.

i also have 2 x wwii Fordsons, a long and short variant, you can have them but they only come w/one default 3dz/pcx

and theres an unfinished shape that passes for a Wagner used by the Arab forces but looks more like that Lanc shape, have no idea how the RS looks ingame if interested???

Here is a Beta test of the Lanchester, in d3d format only.

It's slotted as an American Lorry, so go find it and post a pic. So far I've not been able to find it! smile
