Even with the fix I experience frequently to be thrown back to the desktop after inststalling the new patch 4.11, usually it happens just as I'm going in for a kill ** poof ** and back to desktop but now also with the monitor settings from the game.
I downloaded the file from the Daedalos team home site, extracted it into my IL2 folder (main folder) as per description.
I've also tried download it again, but nothing helps ... any suggestions?

i have been getting the same, just finishes mid flight, randomly.Game completely shuts shut down and is not running in processes's , have not seen an il2 crash until 4.11 and the hotfix.

My character somehow got all twisted up. I was playing the mission where you have to infiltrate the Golden Glow Estate and do multiple things. When I was out burning beehives and fighting I just eventually ran away to view my success from a distance. I first noticed it when I squated down on a tree trunk. Coot..the squatter../simHQ/2011

In that case, you may want to report this in the Daidalos Team 4.11 bug reports thread on the 1C forum.
