I'm getting rid of my Smith&Wesson M&P 9 Pro since I can't get used to it's trigger. So instead of spending more time and ammo trying to learn it, I've put it up for sale and went and bought myself a new handgun today.
The
CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow.
This is a good quality and precise weapon which is one of the most popular weapons for use in IPSC Production. I testfired someone elses gun last weekend to see how I would do with it (something I did not do with the S&W, to my regret), and after debating a little I landed on it (other candidates was Tanfoglio Match II/Limited and P226 X-Five (too expensive, unfortunately)) and picked up mine today. After a quick cleaning to get rid of the factory grease and light oiling it was ready for the range tonight. Gave it the first 50 rounds of ammo and mostly pleased with how I shot, will get better as I get acquainted with the gun.

What was in the package, including the extra magazine I picked up. Will probably pick up one more so I have five.

A nice handgun, fits well in my hand and has a big thumb safety on both side.

Features a nice tritium sight making it each to put it on the target.

The view down the sights.
So hopefully this gun will fit me better than the S&W. Ideal would have been the P226, but I couldn't justify spending $1500 more on that gun for my intended usage.
