What patch? Hardly a mention of it. 1C is run by politicians isn't it?

Regarding drivable vehicles - they've been planned for several years and most of the code is already in the engine. It was just a matter of finding time to finish up some of the content. So, it shouldn't be much of a surprise that they're being added. Hopefully we'll see the SDK as well.

Given the reception they get - I would avoid saying anything more than I had to - so many musings get embellished into 'features' and 'promises' with some type of 'release date' that was never mentioned by the devs... If you know what I mean. If I were them I'd keep the cards close to my chest - however, it is nice to know that there *are* cards - and that is what they are telling us.

I am looking forward to flying ground attack over those horrible little villages of the poor Russian expanses. Navigating them in a high-altitude bomber is not going to be fun I bet, heh.

Don't think the AAA cost Maddox Games much, after all it's little more than an extension of the gunner's module and a pretty simple 3D model. *shrugs*

I just read ROF 2012 statement..and look what we got from 1c ! I try not to be negative in life and like the challenge of working things out.....but I feel 1c must think we're a bunch of idiots...and maybe we are because we're so desperate to fly this broken sim. Id gladly pay $100 for them to release the SDK and we fix it up ourselves...They could'nt run a "Booze Up" in a brewery !

It was like this before the release, some of us were moaning about them not showing any detail and it wasn't look good only to be told "Oleg is going to give us a fantastic surprise and is holding back all the good stuff... just wait!"....he did alright.

Lets hope times have changed, its a pity because something like this would be much better received if the rest of the sim was mostly finished.

The other worry is none of the major issues are going to be addressed in this patch and its going to be a another very very long wait till they get fixed...if ever.

remnember the picture of the chaps looking at the spitfire manual and being told the FM is next on the list to be fixed?

Remember the big "The AI guy needs your help!!" thread? well hes had all the help he could need and 4 months time to work on it...lets see what he has come up with.

One day we will find out. Crewable flak guns were always planned, I saw them in the alpha several years ago. As for RoF, thats the first time I thought 'WTF!' Jason has said those things are a years work for them, and even though I own everything, I don't think I will be paying out $50 for something that even they say might not turn up, and no you can't have a refund if it doesn't...

Well, in the past Ilya got fried and roasted for posting stuff that didn't appear or appeared later than said ... I guess he's switched to complete silence hence the installation of BlackSix as middleman. Not that I find his information policy particularly good, mind you, but it's just a bit stricter than it used to be under Oleg. All you got then were screenshots and sometimes cryptic statements as well.
