I would love to send it back. I've pleaded with them to allow me to send it back. I just keep inching my way toward whatever the ending solution is (which I bet will be me sending it back) one baby step at a time. Today's e-mail from TM Support:

When you have tested your device with other computers, have you tested it at a different location than your home (like at a friend or a relative)? Each time the device was connected directly to that unit, or were you using power USB cord, USB cord extenders or USB hubs?

Is that implying that my house might be sitting on a massive magnetic meteor or something and all my computer's USB ports are damned to peripheral connectivity?? LOL...

I plugged it in to all four computers via direct into their USB ports - no hubs, extenders, or powered (always on) ports.

Please include this in your next email:

"Yes, I have tested it everywhere, even in the mayor's house. Now stop wasting my time and send me a fixed unit; I have not been able to use this gear for [insert # of days here] now and might just ask for a full refund. This run-around is tiresome and I am disappointed that a company like TM will do this to me."

Received from TM Service today:

In this case, we are asking you kindly to test the device at a different location, with a computer located there. Simply download the drivers on that unit, connect the device and see if the operating system will recognize it and also if you can update the firmware on the device one more time. Run the test and inform us about the results by replying to this email.

Wow. So, Kramer here at SimHQ has kindly offered to lend me his stick for a short period. I'm going to send him my stick so he can verify and test it. Although I'm guessing that after that TM will want me to submit X-rays or an MRI of my stick for further analysis.

Thanks Kramer!

WTF!!! They seriously want you to send/take your stick over to someone else just so you can get verification that it is not working as it should?!?!

That is a really stupid individual on their end. You have tested on 4 different systems WITHOUT going through a hub or otherwise and you are getting lip from them.

As a dedicated TM Warthog fan...(thanks for mentioning me in your review when you had my stick for the review btw) I have never seen customer service be this messed up.

I think I should try to get THESE! and hook them up with my TM Warthog stick and just pretend like I'm flight simming..

Anyone got a monitor and TrackIR that don't work so I can get the full on experience?
