I've been dropping a lot of plain old dumb iron bombs in this game. The only way I'm getting any hits is
by diving in from around 5-10 thousand feet and releasing at about 1000 feet or less. So far I haven't
been seriously damaged by bomb blasts BUT: I'm playing on Normal and I'm mostly bombing ships with
500 to 1000-pound bombs. Bombing land targets in Hard mode might be a very different story for all I know.
