Trying to decide which path to go down, and want to keep using H shifter if there are enough good cars that allow it. But if not I will have to learn paddles.

Can't find this info anywhere so I'm asking does anyone know which cars allow H shifter and which force sequential.

I know MX5 and Solstice are H.
Legends are sequential only.

Are most advanced cars sequential only?

Thanks, so it looks like about half allow using my shifter.

Many look like Oval cars but I like road. Maybe I'll try the rubber band mod.

Do you prefer a shifter or paddles? I'm finding with paddles I can't downshift in a tight turn because Ive gone hand over hand.

I use the H shifter for NASCAR, and paddles for road... only because if I use an H shifter on road tracks I'm almost guaranteed to blow my engine. wink

I do the same as Mag. H for Oval and Paddles for road.

Lol that's a good point. I've blown the MX5 twice downshifting too fast.

The G27 doesn't come with a sequential, only paddles. Do you guys reckon a sequential side shifter adds anything over paddles to your game?
