Gents,

Just installed the above referenced MODs. I also have a standard 4.11 installation as well. I have, over the years bought a plethora of add ons for IL2 (Plus wave, X1, The last days etc. etc.) before I install on the the UP/DBW install (I plan to deactivate all mods before I install) is there any risk that the UP/DBW mods will become corrupt as a result of the install?

I can live with out the add ons in the UP/DBW install but if poss would like to add them as the frame rate is so much better when running in perfect mode.

On the same tack I assume that Mat manager will run with the mods without a problem?

Also tried Il2 STab 6.2 and it installs perectly on Win 7 64bit. You need to edit the resolution setting to get, for example 1920 x 1200 on the drop down lists but it does work. One small issue is that you need to alter save aspect in the Il2 config manually but otherwise the functionality is all there.

DBW....WoW!

1.7 and UP will co-exist quite happily. Just remember to disable DBW and associated mods before enabling UP.

I just loaded up the Dark Blue World (DBW) mod and put the Platinum Max Effects mod on top of that and it is beyond belief.

Never thought the game would look this good. The improved naplam effect alone are worth the effort.

No. Not over 4.11. There are some thing that can be added, but you should be fairly mod savvy before messing with it. These mods are for 4.101

OK, thanks for the heads up.

I tried to load the 9.5 beta buttons (in every conceivable order of install) to make UP3&DBW work with 4.11 but I get nothing but CTDs. But I'm (very!!!) happy with 4.10 & UP3 & DBW.

And for my part, I keep backups up every working install: 4.10, 4.11, 4.10&UP3, and 4.10&UP3&DBW. It's the only way to go.
