Using CBUs and other other dumb bombs via CCRP mode you have to set an SPI using the HUD. Can you set one using the TGP? Finding it hard getting the SPI anywhere near the target I want to hit using the HUD when I can see it in all its zoomed in glory in the TGP, seems like a waste.

So can I set an SPI in the TGP for CCRP bombing?

You can set a SPI using any SPI generator.

SPI generators are:

HUD TDC
TGP
TAD Hook
Steerpoint/Markpoint
Maverick
IFFCC

I must have missed that in the training mission. Same method to set it? Long TMS up?

Correct.

Current SPI generator is indicated on the bottom-left of the HUD.
