I did not follow the threads since a long time and I am asking what is or seems a stupid question is there a date for the next update? Or even a approximation of a date? A week, month if not a day for this next upgrade? I tried to read the weekly updates but did not find any sings of delay or dates! But that there shall be a new game for the Russian or Soviet front in the future. If someone could answer this question; when?I talk about COD here.

I'm afraid we're all in the dark on this one but if you read the last couple of updates and do a little reading between the lines it seems like they're close on the new graphics engine but still have some minor bugs to fix.

I'm afraid you'll just have to sit tight for a while longer....on the upside they have finally started posting weekly updates so we can stop spamming F5 every day and check in once a week to see what's going on.

It seems to me that the publisher forced them to throw the product out to the market when it was released, knowing that it was about half finished. It had just been in development since the paleolithic era and they wouldn't wait any longer to see some type of return on investment. The irony is, this move insured that the product would be a money loser.

I wouldn't be surprised if this sim doesn't see another patch, and that due to the impossibility of overcoming all of the initial negative press and resulting weak sales, the developers have been instructed by the publisher to move on the the next project (Battle of Moscow?).

Once Oleg left the fold, everything changed. And not for the better.

There is a patch on the way, no question so be prepared to be surprised. Battle of Moscow is on the way, but it will use the same engine so improvements designed for BoM will make their way into CloD by default, not withstanding the fact that Blacksix has confirmed that a patch for CloD OS close to completion. The only bone of contention for me is whether the FM's for the flyables in CloD will be sorted by the devs to the satisfaction of the community. Even if this is not the case they have stated that once the engine is 'finished' the SDK will be released, bring on the modders!

I must say the game did always run great with my system but the radio communications is the big negative point and also many not working things in the full mission builder. Graphically this game is on the top and most of the bugs have been eliminated with the previous patches. I did go to work in a other city thus without my big pc game and got back after four months to see that nothing did move at all. Strange! It is maybe time things did move a little, pilot no?

Yup, as it has always being, it is and it will be - a node of permanence in a sea of change. The patch is always one step away, it exists in an instant and then leaps back to where it was. It is cherished in our arms as the download makes it real and than it flows away like whisps of mist to taunt us: "Come to me. I am your future. I'm a week and yet another week away. Dream as I bid you."

We reach and we fall and we never look at the weeks gone by
- So many two-weeks.
