I'm wanting to get into multiplayer, but is anyone still playing Allied Force? I went into Multiplayer and couldn't find any games at all. And yes, I have opened ports 2934/5....

Most have migrated to BMS. Like AF it's got rock solid MP but with all the upgraded goodness.

Sucks for me then....my netbook will barely run AF on low settings. BMS probably won't even install on my machine.

I need money for a new computer. banghead

Yep, as a long time Falconeer I can say quite honestly that AF is now where it always belonged: in the virtual trash bin.

And thus continues the vicious cycle of "outdated? What the hell are you talking about I just got this a few months ago!"

Meh...never liked AF: it was NEVER the true inheritor of the Falcon franchise...FBMS is.

I never played any versions before AF and I'm pretty impressed with it although the graphics and aircraft handling needed work, which is where BMS seems to come in.

Ah man...ya takin' the wind out of my sales....
I just setup this little system here at the house and the very first thing I did was load up Falcon 4.08...then went on line to see where Falcon had progressed in my absence. Discovered Falcon:AF at Amazon Used Market....received a mint condition package...
Loaded...patched...clouds...more planes...more detail on planes and ground....on my little system it runs flawless.
But I admit to starting out easy to get reacquainted w/F4 and I noticed in the Harms training...
Using easy avionics...the harms went straight for the ground. When I used the realistic settings...Harms hit there target w/o issue.
At least I'm able to jink and dodge missles easier in F4AF than I was in F4
And Falcon:Allied Force shows more sky/ground in 2d cockpit....iow...the ends of the cockpit aren't in the lower corners of my screen.
Cool enough for my wallet for now.
Current setup:
Intel D915GAG...Intel Pent 4 Prescott 3.2Ghz w/HT
Crucial Ram 2 GB
GeForce 8400s video 512 MB
Seagate 200 gb
Toshiba 42" LCD

Well since you have the original F4, give BMS a try, it's free.
